Illustration above: This photo is said to have been taken by the submarine USS Trepang SSN 674 in March 1971. This photo belongs to a set of 10 other photos which were made public in 2015 by Roch Saüquere via "Top Secret Magazine". They have all been discredited because the first of them (not presented here) appeared as an overt photomontage. However, the other shots have nothing to do with the fake/photomontage and present at least two different objects. The shower of water observed above probably comes from an overpressure of underwater origin: explosion of a torpedo on a training target and/or object coming out of the water?
